SANGHA SATURDAYS
‘Sangha’ is a word from Pali or Sanskrit which is used in the West to mean a Buddhist community. We hold regular Sangha Saturdays where we meet up for a chat over a shared lunch or cup of tea, meditate together and often listen to a recorded talk. There is no need to book and everyone is welcome, although you may find it helpful to have done an introductory course in meditation or mindfulness.
When? Usually on the last Saturday of most months in which we aren’t holding a retreat. Shared lunch (optional) at 12.30pm, meditation from 1.15pm, finish at 4.30pm.
Where? Shirley House, Psalter Lane, Sheffield S11 8YL. At corner of Psalter Lane and Cherry Tree Road, parking in St. Andrew’s Church car park. Wheelchair accessible. Map
How much? Donations are welcome to cover room hire
