From Discord to Harmony
A weekend retreat with Tony O’Connor
Saturday March 16 10.00 – 17.30 and Sunday March 17th 10.30 -17.00
At Whirlow Spirituality Centre S11 9SY and Online.
We encourage you to attend for both days, however it is possible to attend only on the Saturday. It is not possible to attend only on the Sunday.
Drawing on the Buddha’s teachings on the causes that lead to ‘conflicts, quarrels and disputes’ and the six warm-hearted qualities beneficial to ‘inclusion, harmony and unity’ we will experientially explore how our reaction to the affective feeling tone of our sensory experience impacts our behaviour and the cultivation of these wholesome qualities can support more freedom and peace in our lives and in the world we inhabit.
The sitting and walking meditation periods will last 30 minutes.
The retreat is suitable for anyone with some familiarity with mindfulness and meditation practice.
