About the retreat
The Buddha’s teaching showed how the insights we discover in meditation can be expressed in the way we speak, act and live our lives. In this day retreat, we use the Buddha’s teaching of the eightfold path as a starting point in an exploration of how to live wisely. By reflecting on this teaching, we can open to new perspectives, and refresh our practice.
The retreat will consist of sitting and walking meditation, including several periods of guided practice, as well as reflections and the opportunity to ask questions. The retreat is suitable for both beginners and more experienced meditators.
The retreat will be held in companionable silence, including during the lunchtime, until a question and answer session at the end of the day. Chairs, mats, meditation cushions and hot drinks will be available.
