Sheffield Insight Meditation relies on generosity to cover the cost of running events (room hire, teachers’ travel & accommodation etc) and overheads (insurance, admin, website, Zoom etc).

Retreat fees and other donations (for sitting groups, Sangha Saturdays etc) help cover these.

Sheffield Insight Meditation offers retreats on a sliding scale with Freely Given tickets for anyone with limited means to pay. (Retreat fees are treated donations by HMRC because we always offer free tickets.) Sitting groups and Sangha Saturdays similarly rely on donations.

Sheffield Insight Meditation is a registered charity so we can reclaim (income and capital gains) tax from HMRC on all donations made to us under the Gift Aid Scheme. Sheffield Insight Meditation can claim an additional £2.50 for every £10 donated by UK taxpayers, with no extra cost to you.
